Forza 4 To Feature Hands-Free Driving?

If you think driving with no hands on the wheel sounds like fun, you’ll enjoy this bit of information. According to a recent job listing from Turn 10, the developers of Forza Motorsport, the next game in the series could feature motion control capability.
Microsoft has been hyping the hell out of Project Natal, their stab at the motion control gaming market, and it looks like they are pulling out all the big guns to make it successful. There have already been rumors of motion control coming to every major exclusive title in their line-up including Halo, and according to this job listing from Turn 10, it seems Forza 4 may be getting the same treatment.
If you’re a hardcore racing simulation fan or just one of those jaded gamers who’s still not sold on motion-controlled gaming, then this news may disturb you. Keep in mind, however, that nothing says racing like waving your arms wildly in the air, and at the very least you’ll be able to say, “Look ma, no hands!”
It remains to be seen if Forza 4 will actually support motion control, or what effect it will have on the Forza community, but we’ll keep you up-to-date on any new information regarding the subject. Until then you should start practicing those hairpin turns with no hands on the controller… just in case.
Here’s some footage of Project Natal in action. If this clip of someone “playing” Burnout with no controller doesn’t sell you on the idea of motion-controlled racing, nothing will.
