Spore, Maxis’ popular creature build-and-battle game, has finally made the evolutionary leap to consoles. Releasing today in North America, with a European release following on October 8th, Spore Hero and Spore Hero Arena gives you the freedom to create your own alien species, train it to fight, and put it up against other creatures around the Spore galaxy.
Spore Hero has been built from the ground up specifically to take advantage of the Wii and DS controls and technology. Although not a direct port, creative gamers will be happy to learn that the Spore creature creator will include all parts from the original PC game, as well as the “Creepy and Cute” downloadable content pack.
If you want to play God, create mutant freaks of nature, and then see them battle it out, now’s your chance.
